AMA SCHOOL OF MEDICINE
MBBS, MD or Medical education in the AMA School of Medicine leads to the MD degree which is equivalent to the MBBS degree in UK, Singapore, India and other commonwealth countries. AMA’s medical degree is recognized as equivalent to the MBBS course in India by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and students will be given a license to practise in India similar to MBBS doctors from India, after completion of licensing formalities with the MCI in India.
ANHUI MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
The predecessor of Anhui Medical University was Dongnan Medical College, established in 1926 in Shanghai. Moved first to Huaiyuan County, Anhui Province, at the end of 1949, and then to Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province, in 1952, Dongnan Medical College changed its name to Anhui Medical College. In June, 1996, approved by the National Committee on Education, Anhui Medical College was renamed Anhui Medical University.
BATUMI SHOTA RUSTAVELI STATE UNIVERSITY
Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University is an important educational, scientific and cultural center of our country. It has a 79-year-long history. The establishment and development of the educational system in Adjara was a long-time endeavor of the Georgian community. In 1893 the issue was raised to open a Boys’ Gymnasium in Batumi.
CAPITAL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

CHINA MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
China Medical University (CMU) was the first medical school established by the Chinese Communist Party. Its precursor was the Chinese Workers’-Peasants’ Red Army Military Medical School and Chinese Workers’-Peasants’ Red Army Health School founded in Ruijin city, Jiangxi province in 1931. After the Long March with the red army, it moved to Shan-bei. In 1940, proposed by comrade Mao Ze-dong and approved by the central committee of Chinese Communist Party, the name of the school was changed to China Medical University.

FUJIJAN MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
Fujian Medical University (FJMU) was founded in 1937. With the mission of creating and nurturing a diverse community of elites who are “diligent, prudent, truth-seeking and innovative”, for over 70 years, it has developed an integral education system offering bachelor’s, master’s and doctor’s degree programs. In 2003, FJMU was approved by Fujian Provincial People’s Government as one of the key universities for priority development. Now, it consists of Shangjie campus and Taijiang campus，covering an area of approximately 87 hectares with a floor space of 400,000 square meters.FJMU currently provides 25 bachelor programs, including Clinical Medicine (7-Year Program and 5-Year Program), Stomatology, Preventive Medicine, Medical Laboratory Tests and Analysis, Anesthesiology, Medical Imaging, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Utilities Management, Social Work, etc.
At present, in Basic Medical Sciences, Clinical Medicine, Clinical Stomatology and Pharmacology, FJMU confers doctoral degrees, as well as master’s degrees which also cover Biology, Stomatology, Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Integrative Medicine, Pharmacy, and Social Medicine and Health Care Management.
In FJMU, there are 2 research stations that offer postdoctoral fellowships (for Clinical Medicine and Basic Medical Sciences), 1 key laboratory of the Ministry of Education, 7 key laboratories & research centers jointly supported by the Ministry of Education and Fujian Province, 12 provincial key disciplines, 5 key laboratories of Fujian, and 19 provincial scientific research institutes. The University publishes several academic periodicals, entitled Journal of Fujian Medical University (Medical Science Edition), Journal of Fujian Medical University (Social Science Edition), Chinese Journal of Hypertension, and Chinese Journal of Cardiovascular Rehabilitation.
HUAZHONG UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
The Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) is a national key university directly under the administration of the Ministry of Education of P. R. China, and is among the first Universities joining the national “211 Project” and “985 Project”. It was founded on May 26, 2000 as a result of the merger of the former Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Tongji Medical University and Wuhan Urban Construction Institute.
At present, the University has eleven disciplines: engineering, medicine, management, science, philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history and agriculture, offering a variety of degree programs, including 86 undergraduate programs, 256 graduate programs, 181 PhD programs. There are 31 post-doctoral research centers, 7 national key disciplines, 15 national key subdisciplines.
The International University of Kyrgyzstan (IUK) was created in March 1993 by a decree of President of the Kyrgyz Republic (State license AL #039) that gave the University a status of international higher education nstitution. The IUK is located in Bishkek – the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic. Building of the IUK is one of most beautiful buildings of Bishkek that is located on a central street of the city. In addition to the Bishkek Campus, the university has three campuses which are located in the following cities: Osh and Jalal-Abad (southern region of Kyrgyzstan) and in Karakol-city (Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan).
The Kyrgyz-Russian Institute for Distance Learning was created jointly with the Modern Humanitarian University in Moscow under auspices of the intergovernmental committee on knowledge propagation and adult education in CIS. Graduates of this Institute get diplomas about Higher Education of Kyrgyz Republic and Russian Federation.
The Kyrgyz-Indian Institute for Distance Learning was created joitly with the Indira Gandhi National Open University (India). Also there were created European Resource Center (IUK-Arnhem Business School, the Netherlands), American Resource Center (IUK-University of Michigan, USA), Education Information Resource Center (IUK-Bern University, Switzerland), Regional Academy of CISCO, International Telecommunication Union, Center of Higher Education Institutes integration to the Bologna process (IUK-EU).
JALALABAD STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
The Jalalabad state University came into operation just after an year Osh State University was started i.e. 1992. It is a public body institution and provides options for higher studies in several departments such as construction, energy, electronics, medical education, agriculture, etc. Going by the figures, the Jalalabd State Medical University itself has 250+ teachers including more than 10 professors cum doctors & 40+ Ph. Jilin University, located in Changchun City, Jilin Province, was founded in 1946. It is a key comprehensive university under the direct jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education, and strongly supported by China’s “Project 211” and “Project 985”. In 2000, Jilin University merged with the former Jilin University of Technology, the former Norman Bethune University of Medical Sciences, the former Changchun University of Science and Technology and Changchun Institute of Posts and Telecommunications.

Kazakh National Medical University is a university in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It is the no.1 medical institute in all of Kazakhstan. Many of Kazakhstan’s leading physicians are affiliated with the university. It is dedicated to S.D. Asfendiyarov who was the first rector when the university was established in 1931.

ODESSA NATIONAL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
Odessa National Medical University was established in 1900 as the Medical Faculty of the Novorossiyskiy State University in Odessa is the biggest port city of Ukraine located in the south east part of Ukraine on the shore of black sea. The medical faculty soon became one of the most prestigious medical faculties in the Russian Empire. Many famous medical scientists including Nobel laureates like Professor Mechnikov worked here.
The Medical Faculty managed to survive the difficult and turbulent period of the early years of the Russian revolution and in 1922 it was transformed into an independent and autonomous Odessa State Medical Institute. It was later to become Odessa State Medical University after the collapse of the Soviet Union, in an independent Ukrainian Republic.

V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (Karazin University), with its more than 200 year history, is one of the oldest universities in Eastern Europe. The University was founded in 1804. It has graduated about 150,000 students. VITEBSK STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
Vitebsk State Medical Institute was established as a hospital-medical institute in November 1, 1934 by Resolution of the Council of People’s Commissars of the BSSR. The total number of students on all courses was 250.
MD, Professor Moisei Anisimovich Khazanov, a graduate of the Medical Faculty of the University of Bern (Switzerland) was appointed as the first Rector of the Institute. 12 Professors, well-known in the USSR and abroad medical scientists, started to work with him: Professor Pavel Markovich Gurevich, a graduate of the University of Strasbourg (Alsace – France), became the first dean. In 1938 a hospital-medical institute was renamed into Vitebsk Medical Institute.
VOLGOGRAD STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

WENZHOU MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
Wenzhou Medical University (WMU) is a key construction university of Zhejiang Province. It can trace its origin to the former Zhejiang Special Medical School established in 1912. In August 1958, a group of faculty were sent from Hangzhou to Wenzhou to help build up Zhejiang Medical College, which was ever since renamed Wenzhou Medical College in accordance with its location, and renamed Wenzhou Medical University in 2013. In 2014, it was shortlisted as the co-constructed university by Ministry of Education, National Health and Family Planning Commission and Zhejiang Provincial Government.
XIAN JIATONG UNIVERSITY
XJTU is a key university which is directly administered by the Chinese Education Ministry and is one of the oldest current institutions of higher education in China. The predecessor of XJTU was Nanyang College, which was founded in 1896 in Shanghai and renamed Jiaotong University in 1921. XJTU has a current enrollment of 32,200 full-time students, including over 15,744 masters and doctoral candidates. The university offers 83 undergraduate majors.
