MBBS in Ukraine

Ukraine is prominently known for its MBBS education at low tuition fee. MBBS in Ukraine is undoubtedly one of the best study options in the world. Many Indian students are nowadays opting to do MBBS in Ukraine instead of MBBS in India because of the excellent education quality and high infrastructure. Ukraine is one of the most famous, prestigious and safest medical study locations in the world.

Gone are the days when Ukraine was not a safe destination for education or tourism. Ukraine has an efficient system of laws, policies and education. Indian students who study MBBS in Ukraine or complete their medical degree in Ukraine in top MCI approved medical universities of Ukraine are eligible to get a medical licensure in India. If they study MBBS in Ukraine in any of the top WHO approved universities of Ukraine, they can practice medicine in any corner of the world.

There are many leading MCI approved universities for studying MBBS in Ukraine. There is no donation fees required for MBBS in Ukraine. However, medical colleges of India require an exorbitant fee to enrol a child. Indian students, therefore, prefer MBBS in Abroad instead of MBBS in India because of a lot of problems in the Indian medical education system. The total tuition fee of Ukrainian medical colleges is also very low.

MBBS is a very promising and prospectus degree but it is certainly not at all easy. It requires a lot of time, effort and myriad hours of hard work. However, the result of the MCI Screening Test depends on a lot of other factors as well, such as choosing the top medical university for MBBS. You should always select a medical university abroad which has a high passing ratio in the FMGE or MCI Screening Test.

Your focus should not be to just attain an MBBS degree from any college of Ukraine. You should instead concentrate on quality teaching. Ukraine has a long list of affordable medical colleges but hardly 20% of them actually provide excellent and premium education quality to Indian students. It should be kept in mind that all colleges do not prepare a student for the FMGE or MCI Screening Test.

Think about it with a practical mind! If all colleges would provide excellent quality of education along with modern infrastructure, first-class facilities and MCI Screening Test training, what will be the meaning of difference in their ranking and over all fees structure? If all colleges were good, none of them would have a different fee, right? This is why the quality of education matters a lot!!!

Medical universities in Ukraine are preferred by so many international students because they are globally accredited by esteemed organizations such as World Health Organization (WHO), Medical Council of India (MCI), International Association of Universities (IAU), World Federation of medical education (WFME), Association of Medical Education of Europe (AMEE), United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organizations (UNESCO), International Education Society (IES), European Association for International Education (EAIE) etc.

All Ukrainian universities have a well structured and globally recognized curriculum for studying. The total duration of MBBS in Ukraine is a period of six years including one entire year of internship. The first three years of the course involves pre-clinical study during MBBS in Ukraine. The last three years include a clinical section where the students get an opportunity to interact with patients.

The medical program in Ukraine is taught in English as well as the Russian language. The students can select their medium of instruction as per their preference. However, Indian students are advised to the only study in complete English medium.

Cost

The cost of MBBS course in Ukraine is very affordable to that of private medical colleges in India. Although every university has a different fees structure and every country has a different expense of living, it can be considered that on average the total fees of Ukrainian medical colleges usually costs around Rs. 25 lakhs. The cost to study MBBS in Ukraine depends upon a lot of factors such as the university ranking, type, facilities preferred, medium of instruction, hostel accommodation etc.

It is mandatory for students to live in the university hostel during the first year of medical study. The students can choose to stay in a private hostel from the second year onwards. PGMedica Overseas have their own private hostels in Ukraine. Contact us to know more…

The cost of the top 10 medical colleges in Ukraine is still low as compared to India. The living cost in Ukraine for the Indian students is also very reasonable. Your total expense and fee structure may also depend on the fact whether you choose cheap medical colleges in Ukraine or an expensive one. Medical schools in Ukraine cost quite low as compared to MBBS in USA as well. Remember, your overall budget and expense of living depends upon your living preferences.

Entrance Exam

This is another huge merit of studying MBBS in Ukraine because Ukraine is literally no need of appearing in any kind of entrance exam for admission in medical colleges of Ukraine. This is in contrast to the medical colleges of India which require students to appear in various types of difficult entrance examinations with negative marking.

However, the National Eligibility Entrance Test or NEET is mandatory to apply for studying medicine in Ukraine. The Indian Health Ministry and the Medical Council of India have made it compulsory for students to qualify NEET to get admission for MBBS in a foreign university. Thus, if you are interested in studying MBBS in Ukraine, you must have cleared NEET.

Eligibility

MBBS in Ukraine is becoming popular for Indian students because it is easy to get the admission and get access to world-class education provided by colleges. Unlike in India, they are not required to sit for any pre-qualification exams for MBBS in Ukraine.

Indian students with a low budget need not get disappointed. They can pursue their dream degree at a low-cost in Ukraine. Even if they have low academics, they can still apply to study medicine in top Ukraine medical universities. Indian students must have scored at least 55% marks in their 10+2 examinations to be eligible for admission of MBBS in Ukraine. However, a few medical universities in Ukraine also enrol students with low academics such as 50%. Another surprising fact about studying MBBS in Ukraine is that the students are not required to pay any sort of capitation fees to get admission. You are not required to give donation fees for anything and even if you are willing to, it will not help you in any way.

The student must have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December, of the year of admission to the MBBS course.
