International School of Medicine

Established in March 2003, the International School of Medicine (ISM) is one of the most distinguished and prestigious medical universities in Kyrgyzstan. The university is located in Bishkek and is famous for its world-class medical education standards. The medical degree awarded by ISM is globally recognized by the MCI, WHO, USMLE and the European Medical Association.

Moreover, the university enrols 6,350+ students, with approximately 1,500 of them being international students. The university has three main campuses, two of which are located in Bishkek and the third is in Cholpon-Ata, a resort town on the northern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul in Kyrgyzstan.

Due to a large number of Indian students on the campus, there is a separate Indian mess with the main cook from South India. The central campus features well-equipped lecture halls, modern practical laboratories, auditoriums, sports complexes, and a massive library with over 40,000 volumes of medical literature.

The university ranks 25th amongst all the universities of Kyrgyzstan and thrives to deliver high-quality education to medical aspirants. Many fully furnished hostels are available for students and the first-year students are offered transportation facilities to the main campus every day. The university houses approximately 170 teachers and expert faculty members who train medical students excellently.
