Spartan Health Sciences University School of Medicine

Established on January 7, 1980, Spartan Health Sciences University is one of the best private, for-profit medical schools located in Vieux Fort, St. Lucia, in the Caribbean. The university's first campus was located in Castries, the capital and largest city of Saint Lucia and relocated to Vieux Fort in November 1983.


The medical degree awarded by Spartan Health Sciences University is globally recognized by the MCI, WHO, USMLE, FAIMER, IMED and many other leading medical councils of the world. The university confers upon its graduates the Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree through a ten-trimester course duration.


The first to fifth trimesters are completed at the Saint Lucia campus.
